Saturday 3rd November 2007 - The Annual Memorial Mass to remember and honour our departed Brothers and Sisters within the Accra Districts - (The Third Commandery, District 3 Auxiliary and District 4 Auxiliary) which is held during All Souls Day will be hosted by our Commandery and Auxiliary.

This Memorial Mass is to remember all who passed away in the Lord between the month of November 2006 and October 2007. As a first in our Parish, all families of Parishioners who also passed away during that period will be recognised and invited as special guests to our solemn ceremony.

Sunday 4th November 2007 - the Annual Harvest of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church will take place. As usual the Knights and Ladies will participate fully to help raise funds to complete our new Parish Hall.

Events in October 2007

On Saturday 6th October 2007 - The Knights and Ladies together with the Cadets and Juniors turned out in full military uniform to support the St. John the Evangelist Commandery# 596 and Ladies Auxiliary #505, Adenta during the presentation of their new Grotto. The event was very colourful, solemn, joyous and a day to remember.

On Sunday 7th October 2007 - We attended Holy mass at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Ashalley Botwe to support our outstation on the opening of their new Church Building. We of Queen of Peace pledged to provide the new Church with a Marble Altar. Present were the Parish Priests and the Vicar General of the Accra Archdiocese Rev. Fr. Francis Adoboli. We turned out in our St. Johns Cloth. The Priest in Charge, and our Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. Guy Amedee SMA, thanked us for our attendance and invited us to a picnic to be held later in the afternoon. We attended in our numbers and were well feted by the Parishioners. There was lots to eat and drink and the children danced away into the night.
