INSPECTION
QUEEN OF PEACE LADIES AUXILIARY #510 HOLDS THIRD QUARTER INSPECTION
On the 8th of September 2012, the President,
Sister Veronica Jackson and Past President, Sister Felicia Klu who is the
convener of the Military Committee inspected the military uniforms of Sisters. Attendance was good and Sisters were smartly
turned out and arrived on time. The
inspection was held before the start of the general meeting of the day. The Past President commended the Sisters for
their sharp looks and neat hairdos and advised the new sisters on how to avoid
“cutting” the Maltese Cross when ironing their sleeves. All aspects of the
uniform were inspected, including tightness, length, gloves and socks and she
also advised against the wearing of very high heels since, apart from health
risks would be uncomfortable when there was a lot of standing during a parade
and during route marches. She also
thanked Sisters for their quick response.
A short drill was held then Sisters marched into the meeting room.
