On the 24th May 2008, a Marian Rally was organised by the Third District Commandery and joint District 3 & 4 Ladies Auxiliary of the Order.
This took place at the Our Lady of Knock Grotto in Adenta, Accra.There was full participation of Commandery#604 and Ladies Aux #510, together with our Cadets of #604 and Junior Auxiliary #143.
The theme of the Rally was "Do whatever he tells you to do" from John 2:5.
The Rosary was recited during the procession from one part of the town ,banners were carried and songs were sung to our Mother Mary. After the procession which lasted about 2 hours all assembled for Holy Mass at the Grotto and more songs were sung. The resident Parish Priest , Rev Fr. Anthony Oppong , welcomed us and the Regimental Chaplain, Rev, Fr. Benjamin Ohene, District 3 Chaplain Rev Fr. Samuel Filton Mensah and the Assistant Parish Priest, Rev Fr. John Patrick Tindana were all there to lead in the celebration.We ended with the Litany of the blessed Virgin Mary and after that all were refreshed and we socialised and met up with old friends.
It was a wonderful day, the the sun shining bright and everybody happy and glad. We can only say Thank You Mother Mary for being there for us all.
